Audiovestibular Physicians
IAPA is an association of audiovestibular physicians. Doctors in audiovestibular medicine (AVM) investigate, diagnose and manage hearing, balance and communication disorders in adults and children from birth onwards.
Our aim is to spread knowledge of best clinical practice, research, ethics and education in the field of audiovestibular medicine. Also, to promote international co-operation between audiovestibular medicine and related specialties.

Dear IAPA Members,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you as the new president of the International Association of Physicians in Audiology (IAPA) for the current episode.
For more than 40 years, IAPA has pursued good vitality and international relations with all specialties and associations of interest. In fact, IAPA’s commitment was to “spread knowledge of best clinical practice, ethics and education, competent research in the field of audio-vestibular medicine with cooperation with related specialties”. The biannual conference was regularly conducted in many cities across the globe and was always assisting in accomplish of IAPA’s aims and objects, yet Covid19 epidemic, unfortunately, had its negative impact.
At this pivotal juncture, I am enthusiastically looking forward to accomplish the new registration and website development, in addition to enrich more extensive collaborations, and international activities, matching the latest advances in Audio Vestibular science and implant technology.
I, therefore, invite all IAPA members to be actively involved in accomplishing this mission, seize all opportunities to participate, suggest and act. I assure you this will be a significant milestone to enrich your experience ,and effectively influence IAPA to grow and evolve.
